Todd C. Steadman
Since
1996, my law practice has focused on civil, family, and municipal
litigation, as well as representing plaintiffs in personal injury
litigation. I also handle probate and landlord/tenant matters, and
estate planning. I have been a law partner in the firm of Davis &
Steadman (now Davis Steadman & Ford) in 1999.
In
2005, I was one of a handful of attorneys honored by the Vermont
Supreme Court for dedication and service to the Vermont Family Court
system. I have served as president of the Windsor County Bar
Association for several years. Within the community, I have served on
the Town of Hartford Selectboard (1998 to 2007) and on the Hartford
Youth Hockey Association Board of Directors. I also coach youth hockey.
Law
was my second career, following seven years of active duty as a
helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps. After the Marine
Corps, I served with the Vermont Army National Guard until completing
20 years of military service and retiring with the rank of Major.
I graduated from Norwich University, with high honors, in 1986 and from Vermont Law School, with honors, in 1996.
